BTC recruits 80000 teachers in September 2011. STATE COUNCIL OF EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND TRAINING UTTAR PRADESH (SCERT).BTC recruitment related some information are as follows :
State Council of Educational Research and Training Uttar Pradesh is going to recruit around 80,000 Teachers in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Only those candidates will be eligible for applying against the recruitment of Teachers, who will successfully complete Basic Training Certificate (BTC) Program. This programme has been designed by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). State Council of Educational Research and Training, Uttar Pradesh will conduct this Programm, for year 2011. Candidates having all requirements and fulfill the eligibility criteria may apply against this Basic Training Certificate Programme. Details are given below:

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science / Arts / Commerce with 50% Marks or equivalent qualifications from a university recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC)

• Up to 5% Marks will be relaxed for SC / ST / OBC / PH / Dependants of Freedom Fighter / EXS.

• Candidates must be a residence of Uttar Pradesh

Age limit:

• For applying against this Programme, age of candidates should not be more than 30 and Less than 18 years as on 01/07/2011

• Age Relaxation:

SC / ST / OBC and Dependants of Freedom Fighter will be relaxed up 5 years

Tenure of Programm:

it will of 2 years.

Application fees:

Rs.400 for UR / OBC, Rs.200 for SC / ST (No application Fees for PH Candidates) Candidate are required to pay application fees in the shape of Demand Draft in favour of “Principal, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Payable at Respective District of Uttar Pradesh

Candidates may also send their application in prescribed format on A4 Size Paper with copies of supporting documents like;
Educational qualification certificate, Caste certificates and as well as others documents.

After completing the application in all respect, candidates should send it by Registered / Speed Post to the “Director Institute
of Educational and Training” of respective district.

[4.]

Application must reach the above address by the last date 24/09/2011.

Selection Procedure:

Those Candidates who appear in Merit list will be eligible for the selection. This merit list will be prepared by Selection
Committee.

Reservation:

• Total Vacant seats has been divided into two Part; one for Female Candidates (50%) and other for Male Candidates (50%), out of which 50% will be for Science streams and 50% will be for Arts.

• Those Candidates, who are working as “Shiksha Mitra” will provided the benefits of 10% Reservations of the Seats.

Training Fees:

This BTC (Basic Training Certificate) Programme is of 2 years consisting of four semesters. Six months will be given for each semester. Candidates will have to pay Training Fees of Rs.4600 per year for the above BTC Programme and during these period candidates will not be paid any types of stipend and Accommodation facility.
